All hands were lost

So Rochester has been struggling with it’s ferry to Toronto for a while. It hasn’t made any money, and today the mayor announced it’s going to be sold. I heard a lady on the news say, “And now the ferry has been sunk – in a sea of debt.”

  2. damn, yo. that’s such a disappointment. i blame rochester’s terribly pessimistic attitude. we are so lame.

baby boo- it floats and is propelled with a motor. you know, like a boat. which is what it is. it propels itself around the lake to where toronto is. et voila!

  3. It’s actually a little known fact that Rochester’s ferry traveled underground to Toronto, kind of like the chunnel. That’s how it became known as the “fast” ferry.

  4. so the definition of “underground” is “fast”? I just figured it was fast because it got there quickly, except, the only thing it did fast was go outa-business! it guess it sucks though for people who don’t want to drive to toronto. or who could afford to buy a ticket.
